The old MGM-Bally's maintenance and storage facility.

After finding its way through the structures of Bally's, the monorail track makes a quick s-turn to follow an alley behind several other resorts.

The s-curve has a variety of supports.

In the alley are the new Flamingo Hilton Station (background) and Harrah's/Imperial Palace Station (lower left corner).

Harrah's/Imperial Palace Station.

90 degree turns are in abundance with the Las Vegas Monorail. This one and two others avoid having the monorail track cross the property of the Venetian Resort. Owners of the Venetian were thorns in the side of Las Vegas Monorail during planning by trying to kill the project in the courts. Luckily they were unsuccessful.

The Venetian bypass cuts around the Sands Convention Center, which is owned by the Venetian.
