This was one of the fun chores, smoothing out the surface.

A record-setting day at the back of house. Three straight beams went up in one day. Here I'm making sure it's level before I cut the pylon to the correct height.

One of the easier elements of track building was bolting them to the pylons.

After each new section was in place, we would "walk" the prototype car out to test it. It's May of 1999 and there's only one big challenging track piece left to install.

I decided to take a break from track building and put the station in next.
