One trick I figured out was to soak the 3/8" ply
in water before trying to bend it.
What you aren't seeing in all of these pictures is the enormous
amount of work just to cut the wood.
Because of the complexity of Horseshoe Curve, it was built in
place on the pylons.
One solid beam under construction.
November 5, 2000: The Golden Bolt signifies the completion of
the loop! On hand are Carol and Skyler Pedersen, Dale Samuelson,
