Here's Carol on the same grade. Kristi is still on
guard, I think.
After the climb, the track makes a long turn to the left as the
train negotiates its way through two Japanese Maples. Track in
the background is where we'll be in a page or two from now.
There's a long straight section along the back fence where the
view of a park behind the house is terrific. This was taken from
freight train tracks between us and the park. At certain times
of the year, it's possible to pick blackberries here.
Looking from the roof, we see Paul M. Newitt race a BART
train on its way south. Yes, tall people can drive, but they have
to be able to compress themselves considerably and the batteries
must be at full charge!
Carol approaches the second grade.
